Black Taj Mahal - Hidden Truth, Agra-India

The Taj Mahal of Agra built by Mughal King Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. She is the second and Shah Jahan’s favorite. She died during the birth of their 14th Child. The construction began in 1632 and was completed in 1653, Thousands of artisans and craftsmen comes from around the world worked for its construction. The construction of Taj Mahal was assigning to a team of architects Abd ul-Karim Ma'mur Khan, Makramat Khan under the supervision of Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. Lahouri is the main Architect of Taj Mahal. Jean Baptiste Tavernier (A French traveler) who visited Agra in 1665 first mentioned the idea of Black Taj in his fanciful writings. Some are says Shah Jahan wants to build black Taj Mahal other side of the river and connected both by the bridge. He was giving the message to the world, to differentiate between Heaven and Hell. Whatever people say but there is not enough evidence about black Taj Mahal.

When you are there most of the guides told you about Black Taj Mahal even they show you   ruins of black Taj Mahal other side of the River. John fritz archaeologist university of Pennsylvania has been solved the mystery of Black Taj Mahal. Actually Shah Jahan built Mahtab Bagh also known as moonlight garden other site of the River and this garden had very large pool. More credibility to the story is added by an observation made by archeologists in 2006, when they reconstructed pool in the moonlit garden and it reflected a dark reflection of the white Taj Mahal. That Dark reflection imagined as black Taj Mahal.
